The 61st Binibining Pilipinas Pageant candidates spent a laughter-filled day at the Fiesta Carnival in Araneta City on April 23, 2025, with children from San Martin de Porres Center.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc., in partnership with J. Amado Araneta Foundation (JAAF), the social development arm of Araneta City, opened a Charity Day with the Binibining Pilipinas 2025 Candidates. The initiative enabled the candidates to take a break from rigorous pre-pageant schedules and give a day of fun and excitement to more than forty indigent kids under the care of San Martin de Porres Center in Quezon City.
Coming off a series of photoshoots and sponsor engagements, the candidates put on their flats and sneakers to play and spend time with the kids. They had lunch with Pizza Hut and shared desserts from Dunkin’ with the kids. They were joined by reigning Binibining Pilipinas International Myrna Esguerra, who gave an orientation and an inspirational message to the candidates and the kids.
“I know you are all busy preparing for the pageant, but don’t forget that we are in this competition to reach out to people and to inspire many. We are here at the Fiesta Carnival to spend a wonderful time with indigent children from our partner organization. Let’s enjoy this day and share memorable moments with the kids, which they can hold dearly in their hearts throughout their lifetime,” Esguerra said.
The Binibinis toured with the kids around the Fiesta Carnival. They enjoyed the many attractions and iconic rides at the carnival, including the Wii Trampoline Park, Roller Fever, Carousel, Bump Cars, Dinosaur Run, Snow City, the Electric Carnival, and many more!
The children from San Martin de Porres Center are scholars supported by JAAF.
Fiesta Carnival is open Mondays to Thursdays from 12:00 NN to 9:00 PM and Fridays to Sundays from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
